2021 Skill Empowerment Program

The problem of insecurity and social restiveness cannot be solved or abated without adequate provision of employment, any form of gainful or economic engagement . However, this does not downplay the negative contributory roles of poor economic situation, bad governance and technological influence (social media) to name but a few.
On a modular scale, insecurity and social restiveness are empirically connected with idleness. It is a common knowledge that an Idle Mind is the Devil’s Workshop“. The Foundation identified this trigger factor and outlined a clear strategy to identify affected members of Nenwe Community, men and women; commissioned experts in the selected skills for effective and practical training of the community members who willfully indicated interest in the program. Trainees undergo completion tests to ascertain their competence. Successful participants are issued certificates of completion and adequately equipped by NIF to pursue careers in their chosen fields. This epic event, which principally gives meaning to the lives of community members is celebrated in a colourful pomp and pageantry event in the presence of families, friends and well-wishers of both the Beneficiaries and NIF. The following pictures marked the exercise in 2021.
